Ho Shin Do means "Korean Art of Self Defense" and was developed by Master Carroll and Master Tommy Cho some years ago. This form would be considered a nontraditional style since it blends many different fighting styles; however, in terms of philosophy, it is very much "traditional" in nature.

Hap Ki Do
Hap Ki Do is the name of the Korean traditional self-defense art. Literally translated, "Hap" means harmony, "Ki" refers to energy or power, "Do" is the oriental designation of way of, method or in this particular case, art. Hap Ki Do combines joint locks, pressure points, throws, kicks, and strikes for practical self-defense. Hap Ki Do is more soft than hard and more internal than external, but elements of each are included. It emphasizes circular motion, non-resistive movements, and control of the opponet.
